Terms of Service

Effective date: [SET: launch date]

These terms govern your use of richardlhaight.com (the “Site”) and the courses and materials offered on it, operated by [SET: legal name and form — must match the Privacy Policy] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or purchasing a course you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Your account

You sign in with one-time links sent to your email address, so your account is only as secure as your inbox — keep the email address on your account current and protected. Accounts are personal: one person per account, and access may not be shared, resold, or transferred. You must be at least 16 to create an account.

Purchases, subscriptions, and trials

  • One-time purchases — grant access to the named course for as long as it remains on the Site, unless the offer states a fixed access period.
  • Subscriptions — renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and no further charges are made.
  • Free trials — where offered, your payment method is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Trial length is stated at checkout.
  • Free access offers — some courses are offered free for a limited access period stated at signup. When the period ends, access closes. Free offers are one per person per course.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout; we may change prices for future purchases, never retroactively for a period you have already paid.

Refunds

If a course is not what you hoped, contact us at contact@richardlhaight.com within [SET: refund window, e.g. 30] days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds of subscription renewals are considered case by case — canceling before renewal is always available and immediate. When a purchase is refunded, access granted by it ends.

What you may and may not do with the content

Courses, videos, transcripts, and downloads are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. All content, including the Total Embodiment Method® name and materials, remains our intellectual property. You may not:

  • record, download, copy, or redistribute course videos or materials;
  • share your account or make course content available to others;
  • use the content to build a competing course, training, or teaching practice without a separate written agreement;
  • circumvent access controls or payment requirements.

Health disclaimer

The courses teach meditation and related self-development practices. They are educational, not medical or psychological care, and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional. If you have a physical or mental health condition, consult your care provider before practicing. Stop any practice that causes you distress. You practice at your own responsibility.

No guaranteed results

Meditation practice affects people differently. Testimonials on the Site reflect individual experiences; we make no promise that you will achieve any particular outcome.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — including content redistribution or account sharing — and in serious cases without refund. We may also retire courses or the Site itself; if we retire content you hold a one-time purchase for, we will offer a fair remedy such as a pro-rata refund or equivalent access.

Liability

The Site and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Site evolves. The effective date above reflects the current version; material changes will be announced to account holders by email, and continued use after a change means acceptance.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of [SET: state, e.g. California], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: contact@richardlhaight.com. Postal address: [SET: business postal address — same as Privacy Policy].
